I Spy - Photohunter

I've been waiting this photohunter entry since January! I took this picture special for this entry last January. I spy someone from my window for this entry... *evil grin* I don't mean to spy... I only spy her just for this entry, honest! And do you know who is she?

psst... *whisper* my maid... *grin*

She is my senior maid, working for me for 3.5 years. She said he was not her boyfriend, but I saw from her gesture when she was talking to this man, she lied to her heart.

Btw, she doesn't work for me anymore.

Photohunter : Party

Below is the sandpit at Clay's Elementary School. He always plays here after school and I have to pick him up here. Look at the slanting wooden play house... it's really fun to have this kind of playhouse at school isn't it? I choose this school because there are spacious space for kids to play, to run and to explore. Many schools in Bandung that only buildings, no space for play at all. Even the basketball court is used to park the teacher's car!

Look at Clay & co. They are building something... just like architects building a drainage... :-) On the background is a wooden play house... with a sliding, bridge and tunnel...
The students love to play here at school breaks.

And this is Clay, in a wooden tree house.... we were searching for a place for family gathering and found this place... it's a great place for a retreat... children are having fun here...

It's 7 o'clock in the morning...My hubby, Clay and Cliff were taking a morning walk... the yellow building over there is a sun dial clock...

This building is the sun dial clock... we can tell what time it is from the shadow of the sun over there...

Curvy Surprises

This post is for photohunt

Just have an idea about curvy theme... These pictures were taken on July 8th, 2007. It was my hubby birthday and we gave him a triple birthday surprise!

The first surprise was a before birthday party (you can read the story here), the second surprise was staying at Sheraton Hotel Bandung... and here are the pictures... lots of curvy things here!

Curvy Swimming Pool
at Sheraton Hotel and Tower
Bandung Indonesia

Having dinner at Thai Palace,
just across Sheraton.

My hubby take a shot of this curvy lantern.

Love this curvy lane... still at Sheraton.

How about you, what surprise idea do you have to celebrate birthday?

today is about paper... I looove paper...!! Since I was a kid my mom always provides me many many paper for me to draw... This is me when I was a kid:

and I also love to collect art papers. I think Japanese is the most creative people who can make handmade paper and crafts.

Their ORIGAMI is really famous and adorable. Recently I bought Cake Folding Papers from Japanese Store. Really cute and pretty! Look I made a strawberry cheese cake for you!

The most important thing about paper... is that we can find WISDOM and KNOWLEDGE from the papers...! Books are our window to the world. I love to provide my kids a lot of books... and this is my favorite BOOK, for me history means His story about this world. So THIS book is my guidance, my light to walk my path... my journey of life.

These sentences are from THIS book:

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Beauty can be a fake...
What we see from outside is different inside...
Sometimes we are interested in something fake...
Wealth, Luxury, Beauty...
all of them are temporary and fade away...

Just like a butterfly choosing a plastic flower
and got nothing at all
we choose all the beauty the world can offer
and the wasted time can not be recalled.

Or may be we are wearing a mask,
pretend everything is happy and fine,
but inside is empty and nothing divine...

My Cliff when he was 11 months old

sure I can sing, play the trumpet and organ... why not?!

Music is creativity.... we can make music from used goods like tins, aluminum cup, water barrels etc. This is called stomp. The picture was taken at general repetition of a music concert.

Music for me is when somebody sing for God... you see that man on the wheel chair... he can not walk but he can praise the Lord... that's will be a beautiful music in God's ears.
Sorry the picture is too small...

and music can make die hard fans histerical! Picture below is F4 concert in Hongkong.
