8 random facts about Clay

Joanne tagged me to list 8 random facts about me (don't click this link, it is to check the content thieves only). I hope you don't mind if I share 8 random facts about my son Clay. This blog is dedicated for my children as well, as my documentation of our family stories. It would be great if Clay and Cliff can read about his stories when he is older...

This post is also as my answer to Wen from Littlepaces.com question about the meaning of my son's name. Wen, this time we will talk about Clay ok!

The Rules:
Link to your tagger and post these rules.
List eight (8) random facts about yourself.
Tag eight people at the end of your post and list their names (linking to them).
Let them know they’ve been tagged by leaving them a comment on their blogs.

1. Krishudson Clement Teja in the name of our first son, Clay. Kris-Hudson is taken from Hudson Taylor, Christ's servant who brought gospel to China. Clement means merciful, forgiving. Teja is my hubby's family name. He is also called Clay, as parents we hope he is easily mold by God.

2. Krishudson Clement Teja in brief is K.C. Teja, that means a grandson of K.C. Limarga and Kusmadiharja Teja. K.C is my father's name, (K.C. Limarga) and Teja is my hubby's family name. In Chinese tradition, the children got their father's family name and my parents have no son. Their children are only me and my younger sister. It has been my wish that my children have my dad's name as well so we give K.C for both Clay and Cliff.

So, Krishudson Clement Teja means a merciful Christ disciple that is easily mold by God, a grandson of K.C. Limarga (my dad) and Kusmadiharja Teja (my hubby's dad).

3. The name Clement's origin from Latin's name.
Meaning : compassionate or accomodating.
Majestic : dedicates himself to perfection.
Personality: is happy, rain or shine.
Genuine : loyal to those he loves
Style : creative and artistic in all he does.
Ability : is as smart as a whip
Character: not obstructed by the past.
Sentiment: loves to watch the sun set.
Physical: protective of others.

By the way, I want to search one for Clifford's name but I forgot where did I get that...

3. Clay is the first grandson of my hubby's parents and also the first grandchild of my parents. Before Clay was born, my parents-in-law has 3 granddaughters from my hubby's sister. Because of this reason, Clay got many attention and love from our family.

4. He was born in the year of Golden Dragon, at shiny Sunday, 7 Oct 2000; at 2.20 PM. Weight: 3.55 kg, height: 52 cm. He has dimples on his cheeks!

5. Before he was one year old, he has fell down from our bed 5 times, from his baby cot once, from his net box once, his fingers were squeezed between drawers once, almost fell down from his stroller twice and found really surprised of very loud sound when he played the tape recorder, twice!

6. In this first year, he has seen 14 animals... swallows, parrots, dogs, cats, fish, shrimp, chicken, lizard, ants, frogs, mosquito, buffalo, goat and ducks!

7. Still in his first year of life, more than 79 places has been visited, including 19 restaurants, 11 stores/malls, 18 houses, 4 banks, 5 other public services, 5 hospitals, 4 hotels, 5 churches, 5 doctors and 2 schools!

8. As the first birthday gift for our sons, we made month to month of their progression pictures!

Trin, you really keep track of your children's development. For me, I can't recall so many things about my children. By the way, Clay's name is very meaningful.
