Plastic

Beauty can be a fake...
What we see from outside is different inside...
Sometimes we are interested in something fake...
Wealth, Luxury, Beauty...
all of them are temporary and fade away...

Just like a butterfly choosing a plastic flower
and got nothing at all
we choose all the beauty the world can offer
and the wasted time can not be recalled.

Or may be we are wearing a mask,
pretend everything is happy and fine,
but inside is empty and nothing divine...

Pretty pink flowers. That's the only thing that would probably not die with my brown thumbs... hehe... nice picture.

Those are cute plastic flowers in the garden. :) Both of my humans have "black thumbs" and kill any plants they try to grow, so plastic flowers would be great for our yard!

Very good thoughts. Too many people live "plastic" lives. Thnks for stopping by Pollywog Creek.

Did you write the poem? It's very good and so true! And those flowers are very cute! I need some like that since I tend to kill the real ones:)
